Welcome

Eames Way Elementary School PTO welcomes you to our web page!  The PTO is an all volunteer organization comprised of the Eames Way School faculty and all parents/guardians of EWS interested in helping our children optimize their educational experience at Eames Way.  All parents of students, and all teachers and administrators at EWS are automatically members of the PTO.

The purpose of the EWS PTO is to:

1. Foster social, cultural and educational enrichment;

2.  Involve family, school and community in the educational experience;

3.  Organize fundraisers to purchase educational materials for students, to pay for enrichment programs, contribute to the expense of student field trips, beautification of the school and staff appreciation.

Last year we distributed over $17,800 to support the above activities.

We have exciting enrichment programs and field trips planned for the 2008-09 school year.  Funding for these important programs will be raised through grant writing activities and several planned fundraisers. Please see the list of activities and fundraisers listed below on the site.

This year we are excited to kickoff our new “BOOST” (fundraising program!! For more information see the PTO Welcome Letter.

Please join us for the monthly PTO meetings where parents and faculty share and develop ideas for the Eames Way community and our children. Without the continued support of PTO volunteers and your generous contributions, many of these activities would not be possible.
