Dear
Daniel Webster School Community,
We
would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of
this year’s P.T.O sponsored events and activities. We appreciate the efforts of
the bakers, crafters, volunteers, donators, joggers, event organizers and school
staff. Without your time, generosity and assistance, P.T.O activities would not
have been so well attended and so much fun.
Since the beginning of this school year, your PTO has raised approximately
$20,000. We have been able to fund numerous enrichment programs and field trips
for students, purchase recorders for third grade students, provide an ice cream
sundae party for summer readers, thank our wonderful staff with appreciation
events and host a family holiday movie night. Families were invited to the
school to celebrate the arts and view student artwork while enjoying tasty
treats. Additionally with the help and support of the always-generous
Marshfield Star Market, we had a fun filled end of the year Picnic in the
Parking Lot. We truly have been able to enhance the educational and social
experiences of our children.
We
wish you a happy and safe summer. We have really enjoyed supporting our
fantastic school community. As we end our term as co presidents we want to
thank you for helping make this another wonderful and successful school year.

Magical Mailbox
,
a PTO funded
project that looks for parent
volunteers to help run it, was debuted in the Aug PTO Today magazine
which was very exciting for the whole DWS community.
