YOU CAN STILL JUST PURCHASE LUNCH WITH CASH!
EXAMPLE:
If you send in a check for $55.00, $52.50 would go on
your child’s Pre Paid Lunch (for 32 lunches). This cannot be used for anything
else; it is locked into buying just lunch for $1.75. The
remaining $2.50 would go on your child’s Ala Carte account to be used towards
extras like ice cream, extra milk, etc...
IF you do not wish your child to have an Ala Carte Account – then just send in
the exact amount for pre-paid lunches and no extra money will be put on there
account for these Ala Carte items.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
IF YOUR CHILD’S ACCOUNT GOES INTO A NEGATIVE BALANCE AND YOU REPLENISH THE ACCOUNT IT IS FIRST APPLIED TO PAY OFF THE NEGATIVE BALANCE
YOU WILL THEREFORE NOT HAVE THE NUMBER OF PREPAID LUNCHES. AFTER PAYING OFF THE NEGTATIVE BALANCE THE REMAINING MONEY WILL GO INTO THE ALA CARTE ACCOUNT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BUY (LUNCH, ICE CREAM, ETC.). IT WILL NO LONGER BE LOCKED INTO JUST PRE-PAID LUNCHES.
All balances at the end of the year will be carried over with your child to the following year.
