Families can now buy gift certificates for their favorite stores directly from the P.T.O. and a percentage of each sale will go to the school.

HOW DOES IT WORK?  Buyers will pay full price for each gift certificate.  The PTO will purchase the certificates from a scrip vendor at a discount; the difference is kept as a donation to the PTO.

PLAN AHEAD:

• Order by November 6 to use gift cards during Charity Night at the Independence Mall, Sunday November 19
• Order by November 13 to have cards in hand for Thanksgiving Weekend shopping
• Order by December 11 for last minute gifts

DANIEL WEBSTER SCRIP PROGRAM

HOW TO ORDER

·         Complete Scrip order form.  Note, certificates are only available in the denominations noted on the order form, purchase multiple cards as needed.

·         Make check or money order payable to DWS PTO.  Please do not send cash.

·         Return to school with your child

·         Order cut-off day will be each MONDAY through December

·         Orders will process weekly through the month of December

ORDER DELIVERY

·         Orders will be available by the following TUESDAY

·         Orders can be picked up at school every Tuesday before school 8:30am – 9:00am

      OR after school 3:30pm – 4:00pm .

·         Delivery to your home can be arranged as needed

·         Gift certificates are the same as cash, and should be handled accordingly. 

            Therefore orders will not be sent home with students.

PROGRAM RULES AND GUIDELINES

• All certificate orders must be accompanied by a check or money order made payable to DWS PTO.  Please do not send cash.  Gift certificate payments are not tax deductible because you receive dollar for dollar value.
• If your check is returned because of non-sufficient funds (NSF), you will be charged a $20 fee payable to DWS PTO.
• Gift certificates are purchased on your behalf, and are not returnable.  
• When you receive your gift certificates, open your order and verify its accuracy.  Your signature on the Weekly Order Receipt Log indicates you have received your order in its entirety.  In the unlikely event you should find a discrepancy in your gift order, please contact the PTO Gift coordinator within 7 days.
• Gift certificates are the same as cash, and should be handled accordingly. PTO will not be responsible for certificates that are lost, stolen or misplaced while in your possession.
• Please Note:  If you ever have a problem redeeming a gift certificate (regardless from whom you purchased it), always keep the card and contact the retailer at the phone number listed on the back of the card.
