Covid-19 Update 3.22.20

Good afternoon.  I hope you are healthy and well.

Just a quick reminder that we will continue distributing Grab-N-Go breakfast and lunch bags as we enter week two of school closures.  The food will be available to students and their families who have traditionally relied on the school breakfast & lunch program as well as those families who are in need of nutritional support.

Those who want to access these meals can stop by the Boys & Girls Club on Proprietors Drive (behind Roche Brothers) between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

In addition, beginning on Wednesday, March 25th, we will start delivering the Grab-N-Go bags to those families in need who are having a hard time getting to the Boys & Girls Club for pick up.  The exact process for delivery is still being worked on and we will communicate the final plan by Tuesday, March 24th

For now, if you cannot get to the Boys & Girls Club and feel you need to have the Grab-N-Go bags delivered, please contact your building principal (by email or phone) so we can compile a delivery list and determine how many volunteers we will need to deliver the meals. It would be great if you can contact your principal by noon on Tuesday, March 24th.  This will also inform our food service professionals as to how many meals they will need to prepare.

We want those families who can benefit from this program to get the meals they need.  You are always welcome to swing by the Boys & Girls Club in the morning, or you can let your principal know if a delivery would better meet your needs.

The Marshfield School District, Marshfield Boys & Girls Club,  Marshfield Food Pantry and many volunteers are here to help.

Thank you.
