The Furnace Brook Middle School Summer Enrichment Program is designed to provide students with a rigorous and enjoyable learning experience during the summer months. Typically, students who enroll in this program are seeking to build and reinforce skills in a specific content area to better prepare themselves for the upcoming year, or are recovering credit in a given subject area for the prior year. The teachers providing instruction are highly experienced and certified in their assigned subject area and are committed to providing quality instruction in an enjoyable environment.

Course Offerings + Cost
2025 Summer Schedule:
June 30, 2025 to July 31, 2025 (5 Weeks):
Students can register for a MAXIMUM of two courses for the duration of the five-week program.
Monday-Friday
Session 1: 8:15-9:30 AM
Session 2: 9:45-11:00 AM
*Sessions will be determined after the registration period*
This year, courses the following courses will be offered for academic credit*
- English Language Arts (ELA)
- Mathematics
- Science
- Social Studies
Enrichment-only courses are academically-focused classes where students learn important skills that can be used across all content areas in preparation for the rest of their academic career.
The following courses are offered as enrichment*
- Guided Summer Reading
- Study Skills
- Math Bridge Course
Cost per Course (both academic and enrichment):
- $150 Marshfield Residents
- $200 Non-Marshfield Residents
FULL PAYMENT IS DUE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION.
*All course offerings are dependent upon an enrollment. In some cases, courses may be combined or eliminated.
Refunds will be made in full if insufficient enrollment cancels a course.
No refunds will be issued after the first class.
