Last week was Food Allergy Awareness Week. 🥜🍓 Alison White shared important information at EWS Parent/Teacher Conferences about allergies, like which are the top allergens that cause life threatening reactions and how to treat them. Marshfield Public Schools has almost 200 students in the district with a life threatening allergy requiring epinephrine. Our School nurses help ensure each student remains safe while at school by providing education and training staff how to administer EpiPens and other forms of epinephrine. 🙌 #WeRMarshfield

Janet Applefield recently spoke to 9th grade World History students to tell her story of survival and to encourage students to combat hate and prejudice. As a Jewish child from Poland, Janet survived the Nazi invasion by being hidden with many different caregivers throughout the war. She eventually moved to the U.S., lives in Massachusetts and at 90 years old is still visiting communities to tell her story. We are thankful to the organization “Facing History and Ourselves” for connecting us with Janet. And of course, huge thanks to Janet for taking time to share her impactful story with us. #WeRMarshfield

Eames Way Elementary is proud to recognize Tracy Niland as a true Marshfield Belonging Builder! 💚🤍🖤 In her 4th grade classroom, Tracy creates an exemplary environment where every student feels valued, respected, and known. She intentionally builds strong relationships with her students, fostering a sense of trust, inclusion, and community that extends far beyond the school year. Tracy’s dedication to her students is rooted in her belief that relationships come first, and she lives that belief every day. As she often says, “once a child is my student, they are my student forever.” The lasting connections she forms and the lifelong support she offers her students are an inspiration to our entire school community. We are excited to recognize Mrs. Niland and her outstanding partnership with the students and staff at EWS. 🤩🙌 #WeRMarshfield
