Last week, local best selling author Casey Sherman spoke to a group of our Forensic Science and English IV: Mystery, Suspense & True Crime students. 🕵️🔎 Mr. Sherman is known for his rigorous research and re-investigations of various local and high profile tragedies. We are so appreciative to Mr. Sherman for his time and generosity -- our students greatly enjoyed this opportunity! 📚✏️ #WeRMarshfield

Flashlight Fridays = fantastic fun! 🔦💥 #EWS #MrsZayac #4thGrade #WeRMarshfield

To kick off the latest 4th grade writing unit, Mrs. Zayac and Mrs. Niland at EWS took their students’ Chromebooks away. The students had to write convincing paragraphs to get them back. They were very persuasive and their sad, sour expressions have since turned around! 😉💻✍️ #WeRMarshfield

Students at South River Elementary have been loving the snow at recess! Ahh, to be a kid. ❄️🤩 #WeRMarshfield

Fourth graders in Mrs. Backlund’s class have set a goal this year to bring more kindness and joy into our community. 🫶 BTru means “Be Altruistic.” Altruism is the act of doing something for someone without expecting anything in return. We recognized people in our lives for their wisdom, strength, stability, patience, and time by writing letters and decorating BTru Rock as a symbolic gift. We presented the rocks to these people last Friday to thank them for being a “rock” in our community. 🪨🤗💚 #WeRMarshfield

At South River Elementary School, Miss Pollard's 1st grade class passed 500 math i-Ready lessons and the students voted to celebrate by having an afternoon of dramatic play. 🤗 They had a post office 📬, a restaurant 🍽, a vet 🐶, and an ice cream store🍦. Lots of creativity was needed to write letters, explain the animals' ailments, record customers' orders, write and create a menu, pay the correct amount, deliver the mail, and so on. #WeRMarshfield
